Associate Programs

Associates Education Program

Because we believe that education enriches lives, the Education Program of the WCBR Foundation offers financial assistance for education expenses for qualifying full- and part-time associates. The program pays approved expenses up front, up to $1,500 per semester and $3,000 per fiscal year for tuition, lab fees, books, licensure, or certification testing fees. Associates pursuing an advanced degree may be eligible for up to $2,500 per semester and $5,000 per fiscal year.

Who Is Eligible?

To be eligible, associates must have been employed at Westminster-Canterbury of the Blue Ridge (WCBR) for at least one year and be in good standing. Courses need not be directly related to an associate’s job but must enhance his or her ability to work and interact with residents and coworkers and must be taken during off-duty hours. However, if courses are taken toward an advanced degree, they must be job related.
