The WCBR Foundation has, again, earned the Gold Seal status from Candid and Guidestar. This seal is the leading symbol of non-profit transparency and accountability. The Gold Seal means the WCBR Foundation has published qualitative information about the organization, charitable programs, financials, people, goals, strategies, and vision. Only 5 percent of the more than 1.7 million nonprofits registered with the IRS have completed the process to earn a seal, and only 20 percent of the seal holders earned the Gold Seal. Bethanie Constant, Vice President of Mission Advancement, shared, “It is important to build trust, to be a good steward, and to be transparent. The WCBR Foundation’s donors expect and deserve accountability. We are proud to have earned the Gold Seal again this year. Leadership and the WCBR Foundation Board are committed to our residents, associates, programs, and our donors.” You can see the profile here.
